BCA is excited to launch this new program to help our families share their stories of how BCA has impacted their child's life. Read more to see how you can be part of this great program to share all that our school has to offer!
What is the Belvoir Christian Academy Parent Ambassador Program?
This new program is designed for school families who are willing to be part of the BCA recruitment team. Parents reach out to those they know in the community to talk to other parents who may be interested in Christian education or child care by sharing their positive experiences, whether by posting online reviews, or simply by sharing a BCA story with a co-worker or peer who is seeking school options for their children.
What is the purpose of this program?
Our admissions director reports that families learn about our school in three main ways:
• Online Searches
• Social Media
The goal of the program is to encourage families to become involved in the BCA recruitment process and to recognize the great work they already do in attracting new families. Many of our current school families are here because they were referred to us by another parent. Therefore, BCA families are our star recruiters. By far, word-of-mouth among parents is the best way to promote BCA. While we invest in marketing/advertising efforts in a variety of mediums, our number one marketing tool is current families who share their story about BCA.
How will students benefit from this program?
Growing enrollment ensures that BCA has a prosperous future, which will allow us to bring new resources and provide academic improvement and additional extracurricular activities.
Do I have to be a parent to be part of the Ambassador program?
While BCA parents/guardians and grandparents are highly encouraged to participate, we welcome participation from school alumni and supporting church members. We want to share stories and experiences of those who have been positively touched by Belvoir Christian Academy/The Lutheran School.
Don’t worry. We will provide the information and training you need.
You decide on the amount of time you are able to invest. You can talk to prospective families in the community or workplace, talk at area churches, pass out promotional materials or be a Social Media Ambassador on BCA's social media sites (Facebook and Instagram). How much effort you put into this program is totally up to you.
Your time will also count toward your family’s annual volunteer hours. We ask that families contribute a minimum of eight hours of volunteer time per school year, and taking time to speak with families you know or offer testimonials will be considered a volunteer endeavor.
