Volleyball season has begun. Girls in 3rd - 8th grade may participate. Each player will need a change of clothes (T-shirt/shorts), gym shoes and knee pads for practices. Coach is Jenny Woodrow, middle school teacher.
Track - the first meet is set for for March 30, 2020. Boys and girls in 2nd - 8th grade may participate. Practice times are 3:30 - 4:15. Please bring a change of clothes (T-shirt/shorts or running pants) and running shoes. Coaches are Frank Streufert, middle school teacher, and Ed Silva, first grade teacher.
The vision for the Athletic department is to provide a program where students have an opportunity to experience the joy of team and individual competition in a Christ-centered environment.
BCA believes that participation in competitive sports develops self-confidence, self-control, discipline, determination, respect and leadership skills. We offer a variety of athletic and intramural opportunities. BCA is a member of the Chattanooga Private Schools Athletic Association. Students in third - eighth grades may participate in the following interscholastic sports (Second grade students may be allowed to participate in a few of the sports listed below.) All sports are co-ed.

- Soccer - Fall
- Basketball - Fall/Winter
- Cheerleading - Fall/Winter during basketball season
- Volleyball - Spring
- Track - Spring
*The variety of sports teams offered each year is subject to student interest as well as the number of students available to make up an appropriately-sized team.

Students in third grade and above who wish to participate on any BCA sports teams will need to have a sports physical from their pediatrician or family physician.
Please pick up a sports physical form from the front office or download HERE. Parents, please take the form to your child's pediatrician (or clinic that offers sports physicals) and have him or her complete the form and return it to our school office. Forms and athletic fees must be turned in before the start of the sports season.
Tae Kwon-Do, Athletic Prep, Gymnastics and more are also available as after-school activities. We partner with Mr. Terry Hanner and Angela's Angels & Athletes to bring weekly programs to our students.
