Soccer Schedule for Oct./Nov. 2017

The vision for the Athletic department is to provide a program where students have an opportunity to experience the joy of team and individual competition in a Christ-centered environment.

BCA believes that participation in competitive sports develops self-confidence, self-control, discipline, determination, respect and leadership skills. We offer a variety of athletic and intramural opportunities. BCA is a member of the Chattanooga Private Schools Athletic Association. For more information on athletic opportunities, please contact Athletic Director, Frank Streufert at 423.622.3755.

Students may participate in the following interscholastic sports (Second grade students may be allowed to participate in a few of the sports listed below.)

  • Volleyball
  • Cross Country
  • Soccer
  • Basketball
  • Cheerleading
  • Track

*The variety of sports teams offered each year is subject to student interest as well as the number of students available to make up an appropriately-sized team.

For seasonal sports schedules for games/practices, please refer to the weekly newsletter emailed to families or posted on the News/Events tab.

SPORTS PHYSICALS

Students in third grade and above who wish to participate on any BCA sports teams will need to have a sports physical from their pediatrician or family physician.

Please pick up a sports physical form from the front office or download HERE. Parents, please take the form to your child's pediatrician (or clinic that offers sports physicals) and have him or her complete the form and return it to our school office. Forms and athletic fees must be turned in before the start of the sports season.

Tae Kwon-Do, Athletic Prep, Gymnastics and more are also available as after-school activities. We partner with Mr. Terry Hanner and Angela's Angels & Athletes to bring weekly programs to our students.
