Child Care Staff
BCA is seeking a number of child care providers, Monday - Friday (full-time and part-time day hours), in our infants through Pre-k4 program. Duties include daily child care (depending on age level - feeding, diaper-changing, engaging in play/learning activities, instruction, etc.) Child care experience is preferred.

Applicants must be age 21 or older and have a high school diploma.
Year-Round Positions:
(1) Pre-K1 care giver (full-time)
(1) Pre-K1 floater (aide)
(2) Pre-K2 aides (full-time)
(1) Pre-K4 aide - (8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.)
(4) Pre-K3/4 aides (3 p.m. - 6 p.m.)
(1) Pre-K3 aide (8 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Applicants for child care providers/substitutes must have a minimum of a high school diploma. Child care experience considered as well. Must be age 21 or older.
Childcare Teacher Requirements:
-Provide basic care for children which includes feeding, grooming, and changing diapers.
-Develop age-appropriate socialization skills in children.
-Encourage positive behavior and good manners
-Utilize various learning methods such as stories, games, and drawing to intellectually stimulate children
-Identifybehavioral problems and developing appropriate strategies to address them.
-Providin a pleasant, safe, and sanitary environment.
-Communicate with parents and providing updates on children’s progress.
-High school diploma or GED.
-Child care professional (CCP) certification is advantageous
-Proven experience working as a childcare teacher
-Certification in first aid and CPR is preferred
-Clear criminal background check
-In-depth understanding of childhood development
-Strong conflict resolution skills
-Excellent communication skills
-Attentive and patient
