MOney-earning programs for bca
There are many ways for families to support BCA through various money-earning programs. We currently partner in the educational support programs sponsored by Food City, Publix and Office Depot. We also collect Box Top labels through General Mills' Box Tops for Education program as well as Labels for Education through Campbell's Soup and other participating products. We also earn money through the My Coke Rewards program.
Our annual Parent-Teacher League fundraisers through Great American also extend earnings to BCA throughout the year as supporters continue to shop online through Great American's online store. Shoppers must enter BCA's code - 3758109 - for us to receive credit on purchases.
Food City - From September 2016 through May 2017, Food City offers shoppers the opportunity to support the school of their choice with each purchase made during the academic year. The program simply requires shoppers to connect their Food City ValuCard to the school's unique code. This one-time linking process then allows BCA to earn money from September through May. Publix - Similar to the Food City School Bucks program, Publix also offers families the opportunity to earn money for their school of choice through their school community partner program. Each time you shop at Publix, have the cashier scan the plastic card that you may obtain from the BCA front office. Be sure to keep the card on your key chain, as you must have it scanned at each transaction for BCA to receive credit for that purchase. To request a Publix card, contact Admissions at firstname.lastname@example.org or 423.622.3755, ext. 18. Download the FLYER for directions.
Office Depot - If you shop at Office Depot for your office or school supplies, BCA can earn 5% on every purchase you make. Have the cashier key in our school code at the end of each transaction, and your purchase will help us earn Office Depot Reward Certificates that we will receive quarterly. We use the Reward Certificates on purchases for our classroom and office supplies. Download the FLYER with the attached card/code and show it each time you shop at Office Depot.
Box Tops for Education - By taking a little time to cut out labels from General Mills’ BOX TOPS, you can help BCA earn cash for classrooms. To participate, simply cut out the labels on participating products and turn them in each fall and spring. BCA receives a check each semester. Earnings depend on the number of labels submitted. On average, we receive approximately $800 per year.
To spark interest and competition among the classes, we hold two label collection contests per school year. The Parent-Teacher League will provide an ice cream or pizza party for the class that turns in the most BOX TOP labels for the fall and spring contests. The spring contest will end Friday, May 5, 2017.
Please collect Box Top labels throughout the year and turn them in on the dates listed above. Please neatly clip them and bundle them with rubber bands in stacks of 50 and put in a plastic baggy and turn them in to your child's classroom teacher.
Campbell's Labels For Education - The Labels for Education program (generally more recognized as the labels from Campbell's Soup) collections will end in August 2017, as the organization has decided to redirect their support of schools in other ways. However, the Labels for Education labels will still be allowed to be submitted until all products currently on shelves are depleted. Please continue collecting these labels as you see them on participating products and turn them into your child's homeroom teacher.
